Things From GSC
WELCOME TO WIKILITE.COM is indented USE THE LINKS isn't
Table 1 blah has FLC = free light chains right beneath it it looks like part of the legend but it's a different colour either add space or change colour
Figure 4.4 Specificity of κ and λ FLC antisera assessed by interference with the results of typical nephelometric assays upon the addition of various substances. Mean and 95% confidence limits for each added substance are shown. Mean and .. shown are in the wrong colour oh wait unless it's intentional in all these places? cos 4.2 has the same problem
- isn't aligned properly with the navbar
- this is only chrome. get a real browser ... like IE ...
cos 11.1 introduction is above the 3 columns (pic, text, pic) but 11.2 is inline inline in the text I mean is that ok, or d'ya want a screengrab? hmm edit links are all over the shop too 11.2 is aligned with the text 11.4 is crossed out by the line
- the edit links in the circle are for all of the subsections preceding it
- legend is really hard to distinguish from the body text
Normal Tasks
- ✔ 2009-06-24 Ive changed any orphaned pages so they're in the Stefan: namespace, just so its easier to bin them when its all sorted.
- ✔ 2009-07-07 Need to check file naming conventions - This is good, Amy has kept it all nice and tidy
- - where possible need to reference css for colours rather than using styles
- - need to check table borders in other browsers when in work, try old ie, try josie's too as hers seems awkward
- - XHTML Validation (see other task)

- ill create a class called 1pxb or try applying it to the entire css for tables
- wait, there is already one called .xborder
- also this seems to only show up in firefox, maybe ie is just ignoring it....
- right so it DOES still have different borders in ie8. Clearly old things not listening to CSS properly. BAD BROWSERS

- ✔ This Page is bananas. B A N A N A S. Mostly done. Waiting for Steph to give me some images
- <div onclick="location.href='http://www.wikilite.com';" style="cursor:pointer;">ololololol</div>
- ok, well the above didnt work. just old school links I guess
- only changes now.
- This seems impossible through any sane way
- It looks like you have to have the whole thing rendered with wiki markup. see [[3]]

- ok, so now i've installed the Tooltip.php extension. That seems to be the only real thing that will give us a popup box
- tooltipasddddddddddddddasdasd textbody tasdasdasdasdasdext
- tooltip textbody text
- Ok, so after ages of playing around with this, it's just a limitation of mediawiki which blocks you from using the full functionality of the <a> tag. Some security think I think. - The best I can do is as it is now so that it gives you the h1 Page title from the pages.
- I have also written a template for the dates to be used in the format of {{updated | dateupdated.}}
- Waiting for the text to come through :)

- This is unfortunately as good as it can be, it is just a little font thing. Ill add a class for 'updated' to save it getting mucked up.
- Done. Unless we want no borders or anything, so just remove the.
- Monitoring_IIMM_patients_using_sFLCs#12.11._Utility_of_sFLCs_in_IIMM-comments_on_utility
- deleted a lot a lot of pages that were old and rubishy. The ones I need to keep are now prefixed with Stefan:
- ok, so this only happens in chrome.
- ive had a look and these all seem sorted ... i think ive done them and just not noted it here.

- We are going to put a link on each page that links to the previous, next and contents page. Do you think you could design a class type to use for these links?
- [[5]]
- Have emailed link to Amy with two different sizes to see what she thinks
- the big one it is
- Instrumentation_for_free_light_chain_immunoassays#27.3._The_Binding_Site_Minineph.E2.84.A2_.28Mark_2.29
- there was a double quotation mark missing from a td code. Looks ok for me now, will get josie to check
please? Table 26.1 on page 218. Hopefully that will be the last table!
- Table_Layouts#table_from_chapter_26.3_page_218
- done, looks a bit different to the one in the book (but the one in the book is rubbish), went off the A&P Freelite™ leadflet
- using ie and there is no double thing ... actually there is no 23.1 - i assume this was 23.x which ive done / doing anyway so nuts to it.
- again there was a border of 1px and a border-bottom style applied to all td cells.
- 23.2 had double borders on all the edges, there was a 1px border AND a border-right on each td cell. removed the TD cells - sorted.
- boxybar and the other red boxes, peachy.
- Clinical_sensitivity_of_assays_for_free_light_chains
- cant remember when I did this, but iirc it was a div tag left open
- Done

Found this code snippit that should help:
body.page-Main_Page h1.firstHeading {
display:none;
}
The resulting code was similar, just applied to the body element
body h1.firstHeading {
display:none;
}
This seems like a good idea to do. It will stop mediawiki displaying any of the <h1> tags, this means that you wont get the thing at the top showing the pagre name. THis wilkl allow us to have the boxybar for that instead, which will hopefully look neater. Amy agrees.

- ok, so ive created a class for csyb. thats pretty much done, just need to get an image in with a comment on the right to nest neatly inside it, tried nesting a single culumn table inside and that just failed. So think about this.
- "bubbly curvy thing (square edges, both same length)"
- boxybar class [7]
- This is altcode 0149 • •• • •
- Have created a user named Td with password specified by Josie
- I have adjusted the css so that type-a th is now left aligned.
- After validating with W3C there are 61 errors.
- First line had a == == on it. Removed and revalidated.
- Lots of div tags were unclosed. Closed all of them and ees sorted
- There is a whole pile of problems with things like div tags not being closed, id names starting with numbers and omitted tags.
- See WC3 checker: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wikilite.com%2Fwiki%2Findex.php%2FImmunoassays_for_free_light_chain_measurement&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0#result
- Info Line 136, Column 60: start tag was here <div style="text-align: left">Well established, inexpensive <div> - have corrected the closing div tag. Page now renders properly
- also, I had omitted tr tags encasing the th tags when setting up one of the tables.
- Need to add a user for remote login / ro for everything - http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Collection.
- User has been created for this. User: Hal / S9kSk5mAuZ1 / HAL (The Bot)
- When Rendering: "An error occured on the render server: Invalid base URL: 'http://www.wikilite.com/wiki' "
- When try to go to api.php5?action=query&meta=siteinfo <?php require 'api.php';> ... which seems broken, should load api.php
- They try to access: 85.214.135.240 - - [28/Apr/2009:10:47:58 +0100] "GET /wiki/api.php?action=query&meta=siteinfo&format=json HTTP/1.1" 200 93 "-" "mwlib" 158 483
- Ok, so it was permissions based. Had to allow read-access to non-logged-in users. It should JustWork™ but doesnt seem to, will check hal for permissions.
- Argh. It looks like the wiki needs to be publically viewable, despite using $wgCollectionMWServeCredentials. It works then, its just turned off temporarily to keep the wiki under raps.
- "WARNING: This page is 32 kilobytes long; some browsers may have problems editing pages approaching or longer than 32kb. Please consider breaking the page into smaller sections."
- This only affects really old browsers like opera 6 and earier, and IE on MAC (old versions) - So really not an issue.
- This was pretty much impossible to make work using the auto-alt-colour scheme.
- Have had just copy and paste the rendered code from View Source to make the table and add the code to center from there.
- Seems like the {{!}} doesnt support all of the table features.
- This was to do with Josie having ie6.0n. Quite an old version, have upgraded to 7.n and this doesnt happen any more. Problem is from W/L using funky JS and CSS to control the vanishing boxes and stuff.
- Have added a page in MediaWiki:Sidebar to edit the order and contents of the sidebar.
